I had a great vacation at Smith Mountain Lake, VA last month that was just awesome. It was very beautiful there and I had a nice, relaxing time. It was also very scenic and tranquil. I stayed at a very upscale place on the lake called Mariners Landing. www.MarinersLanding.com They have a nice restaurant, Starbucks coffee, beach, boats, pool, Gazebo, workout center and nice meeting rooms. I highly recommend you staying there, especially for couples.
